The beach Chrissi Ammos or Belegrina, located in the north of the island, is the main attraction. Hatzivolakas to the northwest, Fokiospilo to the northeast, the Treis Vagies to the southeast, Kataprosopo to the east, and the southern beach at "Vougiou Mati" are all beautiful bays.

The island's 49 fossil species (corals, shells, barnacles, and urchins) come from the sea. They were imprinted on the volcanic rocks when Chrissi was still underwater 350,000-70,000 years ago. Shells abound on the northern shores (Belegrina, Hatzivolakas, and Kataprosopo). The amount of shells is so abundant, especially on the east side of the northern beach, that the view is overwhelming.
