Practical information
Enjoy your day ice climbing in the training spot of Bessans.
You'll meet your guide around 9:30 am and warm up on an easy route after a briefing on the activity. You'll learn the basics of ice climbing with your professional guide. For lunch, you can either picnic in the mountains or go back to the resort to a restaurant. In the afternoon, depending on your progression, you will be able to access more complex and technical climbing routes.

Practical information
Do you want to discover the sensations of climbing on ice cubes? Guess what, this activity is precisely that! Go climb frozen waterfalls in the middle of winter!
All set with your ice axes and crampons you will have to pierce the ice to create your own hold, guaranteed sensations!
Depending on your experience in ice climbing, you will be able to climb unique routes of several lengths or just train on easy training icefalls (only 1 length in a row).
Depending on your ease and your progress during the day, you will have access to lengths more or less steep, from grade 3 to grade 5+/6. Whatever happens, your guide will be there to accompany you and train you to the climbing technics of the icefall, and possibly to the specific rope manipulations.
