Pyrénées Roussillon Aventures takes you to the heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales in Céret for an unforgettable canyoning experience at Gourg des Anelles.
Characteristics of the canyon :
Approach walk: 20 minutes
Total descent of the canyon: 2h30
Return walk: 20 minutes
Jumps: 5 to 7m
Natural slides: 5 to 15m
Abseils: 5 to 26m
Course of events
- Meeting with the instructor at the indicated meeting point
- Participants are kitted out and briefed on the activity and safety instructions for the descent.
- 20-minute approach walk to the start of the canyon
- Start of the 2h30 descent of the Gorges de Galamus canyon with jumps, abseils and swimming.
- 20-minute walk back to the starting point
- De-equipping and end of the activity
Activity requirements
It is necessary to be in good physical condition and know how to swim for this activity.

Practical information
The instructors at Pyrénées Rousillon Aventures know the terrain like the back of their hand and will share their passion and knowledge of canyoning in this unique setting.
You'll discover a sun-drenched canyon in the heart of the Albères massif in the Pyrénées-Orientales. During your canyoning descent of the Gourg des Annelles, you'll come face to face with the emptiness of abseils and jumps, for an adrenalin-pumping experience.
A thrilling start awaits you with a 27-metre abseil down a waterfall! The Gourg des Anelles canyon, which is very steep, has plenty of other surprises in store for you, particularly with its small underground passage!
On the programme: natural obstacles, slides, jumps (optional), narrow passages, abseiling in a splendid natural setting.
If you're a sporty type looking for a thrill, this is the canyon for you. The Gourg des Anelles canyon in Céret is accessible to families aged 12 and over!
