Paragliding intro course in Accous, Pyrénées Atlantiques

Discover the Pyrenees from the sky with ASCENDANCE during a 5-day introduction course or a discovery session in Accous over the Aspe Valley.

The objective is to give you the pleasure of free flying while having the practical and theoretical basics of a paragliding pilot training.

Programme for the intro course:
Day 1:
On a training hill of about 60 metres heigth, you will be introduced to the flying equipment and learn how to control the wing, brake, stop and make smooth turns.
Theory: Understanding how and why a paraglider flies

Day 2:
On the training hill, you will try out small flights, imrpove your take-off, turns and landings to get ready for the first big flights.
Theory: Preparation for the big flight

Rest of the week:
6 to 8 big flights of 800 metres radio guided by two instructors. The flights come with exercises on how to control the wing during the flight.
Theory: Understanding aerology and meteorology, rules and safety.
