If you’re looking for a luxurious way to spend a full day in Athens, this private boat cruise is the perfect excursion for groups of up to 10 people!

Athens is the capital city of Greece and one of the oldest cities in the world, with a recorded history spanning over 3,400 years, making it a rich cultural and historical destination. Whether you're interested in history, culture, cuisine, or simply soaking in the atmosphere of a vibrant city, Athens offers something for everyone. A boat cruise is a great way to explore the beautiful Mediterranean Sea surrounding the city!

For this activity, pick-up is included from your accommodation in Athens (please specify your location upon booking). An experienced guide will collect you and drive you to the starting point at Agios Kosmas – Olympic Sailing Marina. Here, you’ll board the luxury catamaran boat and meet the crew. After a quick safety briefing, the cruise will begin, setting sail into the Athenian Riviera!

The captain will sail by the Athenian coastline, passing by the areas of Vouliagmeni, Varkiza and Anavyssos, as you sit back, relax and feel the refreshing breeze! There will be an open bar on board serving complimentary Greek wine, beer and other refreshments. After approximately 3 hours of sailing, you’ll arrive at the Bay of Sounio. This is a bay famous for its stunning natural beauty and its association with ancient Greek mythology and history. You’ll stop here, overlooking the spectacular monument of the Temple of Poseidon, an ancient Greek temple dedicated to the god of the sea.

Here, you’ll have time for a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea. After the swim, a delicious lunch will be served, consisting of a variety of Greek dishes such as Greek salad, homemade tzatziki, oven-roasted vegetables, a sautéed mushroom dish, pasta and grilled BBQ meat fillets. The food is prepared fresh on board using local ingredients. After enjoying the meal, you’ll set sail again, heading for the next stop. Along the way, you'll stop at islets and secluded bays of your choice.

As you sail, you can relax on the catamaran’s spacious deck, while enjoying the sun and admiring the distinctive blue colours of the Saronic Gulf. Soon you’ll arrive at a secluded bay in the area of Vouliagmeni, the second swimming stop of the tour. Take a dip in the clear waters and sunbathe under the golden afternoon sunlight. You’ll then enjoy a second meal of seafood delicacies such as squid, octopus, shrimp and other seasonal seafood. As you begin the return journey, the sun will start to set, creating a picturesque view of the bay. You’ll end the tour back at the starting point at Agios Kosmas Marina, where the guide will then drive you back to your accommodation.
