Course of events
Please allow a full day for this activity.
- Pick-up service from the meeting points selected by your guide in Porto (1h40 by 4x4 van).
- Drive to the Douro valley, where you will arrive at the charming Tia Celeste café to collect your kayaking equipment.
- Journey to the river and safety briefing.
- Kayak excursion on the Douro River with your professional guide (round trip of around 4.5km - approx. 2 hours).
- Traditional lunch at the Tia Celeste Café (1h).
- Easy walk through the vineyards, visit to the most impressive viewpoint in the region: Miradouro de São Leonardo de Galafura and visit to a vineyard with wine tasting (4hrs).
- Return journey to Porto (1h40).
