About the activity

Zip-line through the trees of the lush forest in the Caledon region and immerse yourself in unspoilt nature near Hermanus! The Caledon zip line is not only one of the longest in South Africa, it's also one of the most accessible! Thanks to its safe braking system, you can control the speed at which you travel. There's no need to worry about taking part in this zip line if you're not into speed and thrills!

With 9 cables totalling 1.3 km (0.8 miles), the Caledon tree top zipline will give you a totally new perspective on the forest and the region, from heights of between 8 and 18 metres (26 to 59 ft). There are also special facilities for children, allowing them to take part on short 20-metre lines. Little adventurers from the age of 8 are more than welcome!

There are 7-8 platforms you reach by longer and (more) shorter distances. We can’t say we hat a thrill. It all goes quickly, we didn’t really have time to enjoy the view/environment. We were the only 2 guests.
