Situated in Swedish Lapland, Kiruna is located in the northern part of the country within the Arctic Circle and is known for its natural beauty, extreme climates, and unique attractions. In addition, Kiruna and its surroundings are also home to diverse species of wildlife such as bears, lynxes, reindeer, Arctic foxes, and of course, the 'King of the Forest', the moose!

Your moose safari in Kiruna begins at the Kiruna Guidetur base, where you'll be greeted by your friendly and experienced guide. Then, you and your group (a maximum of 8 participants) will put on your winter gear, including thermal overalls, boots, a hat, and gloves. Bundled in your warm clothing, the fun starts!

You'll start the moose safari in Kiruna by setting off towards the Kalix River Valley and the mountainous area of Nikkaluokta. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled and your camera ready, as moose spotting is frequent in this area! After you've relished the magnificent scenery of Swedish Lapland, it will be time for a well-deserved lunch and coffee break. (Please indicate any dietary restrictions when booking.) You'll return to the original departure point in Kiruna with memories that will last a lifetime!

It was a really lovely tour through the Swedish wilderness. The nature was stunning and we saw 20 Moose on our tour. The food being prepared was super delicious and getting the fire started was a good teambuilding exercise!
