Practical information
Try surfing on the beaches of Madeira! The climate and tides on this Portuguese island are perfect for any level of surfing and with certified instructors, you can learn new techniques, how to handle the equipment, and identify surfing conditions in this surfing lesson! Choose a 1, 3 or 5-lesson package depending on your available time and the amount of practice you want to get.
- Arrival at the meeting point and introduction to your instructor
- Safety and activity briefing
- Equipment distribution
- Theory lesson and warmup
- Time to dive into the water and practice the surfing techniques you've learned
- Return of equipment and end of activity
- If you choose a multiple-lesson package, come back the next day for the next class
All participants must be able to swim.
Please get in touch with your guide after booking to arrange the specific meeting time.
If you require a pick up from the Funchal region this can be arranged by contacting your instructor after receiving confirmation of your booking. Please allow an extra €20 per person to be paid directly to the instructor.
