Practical information
A 2.5-hour sailboat tour of the Knysna estuary and coastline, including a picnic lunch of savoury snacks, cheeses, and seasonal fruits.

A minimum of 4 people are required for this activity to take place. If the tour doesn't have 4 passengers, an alternative date will be offered alternatively if not an option you will be refunded.
There is a no-shoe policy on-board, so feel free to bring a pair of socks during the colder months.
Journeys to sea are highly weather-dependent. You will be notified on the day of the activity if the conditions aren't good for sailing. This charter is aimed to be an oceangoing charter, however, this is only determined when the skipper is on the vessel at the Knysna Heads. In the event of poor ocean conditions, the crew can still continue the charter with in the Knysna estuary.
There is a cash bar on board where passengers can order further drinks (for your own account): the bill must be settled at the end of the charter via cash or card
Meeting point instructions: park in the dock's car park and make your way through the Knysna Quays promenade. Walk across the draw bridge and you will find Springtide Charters' on the right hand side next to Scoops Ice Cream Kiosk. The sailboat is moored in front of Dry Dock restaurant.
