Practical information
This is an introductory course to scuba diving. It lasts around 2-3 hours depending on group size. At first, you will have a theoretical course combined with coffee in the beautiful diving centre. Once you have finished with the theory, it's time to practice so you will go to a pool nearby and try your first dive with your instructor. He is gonna teach you how to use the gear and the basics of scuba diving. Afterwards, you will have a normal dive in the Libyan sea, down to 8-12 metres, to explore the sea bed and the beautiful fish. After the course, you will get your Discover Scuba Diving certificate that you can use if you want to continue your scuba diving education.
- To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old.
- No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonably good physical health.
- All participants must have a medical certificate of no contraindication of scuba diving, or fill out a medical questionnaire before entering the water.
