Introduction to Scuba Diving in Santo Antão, Cape Verde, from Porto Novo

Please allow around 3 hours in total for your visit.

• Welcome at the diving centre in Porto Novo
• Administrative formalities, including a briefing on the course of the activity
• Theoretical session on the basics of scuba diving
• Preparation of your diving equipment
• Practical session on the basics of scuba diving in the centre's pool (approx. 1 hour)
• 10-minute van transfer to the boat at the port
• Pre-dive safety briefing with one instructor per diver
• Launch for around 20 minutes, to a maximum depth of 5 metres
• Back to the beach with a debriefing of the activity
• Transfer back to the dive centre, equipment storage and end of the activity (showers and toilets available at the centre)

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people or disabled people.
