La Clusaz in the Rhone-Alpes region has been hosting winter sports since 1907.

La Clusaz based at the foot of the Aravis Mountain in the Haute-Savoie department is a rural resort full of the old style charm. Sitting near Annecy in France and Geneva in Switzerland, the resort is a popular tourist centre for both winter and summer sports.

La Clusaz situated in the Rhone-Alpes region (near the Swiss Alps) has been hosting winter sports since 1907, and holds an annual ski contest called Candide Invitational on La Balme Mountain in winter and paragliding competitions in summer. The commune of Le Grand Bornard closely situated to La Clusaz is famous for being a green holiday resort and offers a variety of activities; skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, hiking, mountain biking and numerous excursions.
