This 4.5-hour activity introduces you to dog sledding and takes you on a snowshoe hike with huskies in the Kleinwalsertal in the Austrian Alps.
Course of events
- Meet at 9.50am at the Au im Wäldele sports ground car park in Kleinwalsertal.
- Short walk to HuskyCamp, where the huskies welcome you with their enthusiastic barking.
- A warm and friendly moment around the campfire.
- A fascinating introduction to huskies and their incredible abilities.
- Introduction to sled driving: learning to brake, steer and use the pedals (without the dogs).
- Preparation and fitting of harnesses, then harnessing the huskies with the team.
- Take it in turns on the sled to travel the circuit and feel all the power of the huskies! (5 minutes per participant)
- Enjoy your picnic in a relaxed atmosphere.
- Tea and mulled wine available (please bring your own mug).
- Equipping and fitting the waist belt for snowshoeing.
- A 60-minute hike through snowy landscapes - one husky for every two participants.

Activity requirements
Participants under the age of 18 may only take part in the activity with a guide, for a supplement of €79 in cash on site. The guide is present throughout the day and takes part in the snowshoe hike, without the dog.

This activity is extremely weather dependent. If the weather conditions do not allow the activity to take place, you will be contacted to postpone the activity or receive a full refund.
