Come and see dolphins in the Bay of Alcúdia on a boat tour from Can Picafort, in Mallorca!
Did you know that it is possible to see dolphins off the coast of Mallorca? These endearing mammals inhabit the coasts of the island, the most common being the white-striped dolphin. However, to see them it is necessary to go out to sea, so a boat trip is the perfect opportunity to see them. If you are spending a few days in Alcúdia, one of the most important towns in Mallorca, you can experience dolphin spotting on a boat trip with the crew of North Coast Adventure.
The North Coast Adventure team is based in the marina of Can Picafort, a 25-minute drive from Alcúdia. From there they organise dolphin watching boat trips in the bay of Alcudia, in the north of Mallorca, aboard one of their speedboats for up to 12 people. The boat tour lasts about 3 hours and takes place in the morning, so if you choose the earlier one you can even enjoy a sunrise in Mallorca at the same time as you meet these friendly mammals. But remember, the dolphin is a wild animal, so although it is very likely that it will come out to meet you, its visibility cannot be guaranteed with total certainty. During the boat trip, and weather permitting, you can also stop for a swim and snorkel to observe the other marine species that inhabit the beaches of Mallorca.
Discover the marine fauna of Mallorca with this boat tour to see dolphins in the bay of Alcúdia from Can Picafort: an excursion that will fascinate especially the little ones.
