A full-day white-water rafting adventure on the premium R1 route of the Una River, featuring the complete descent from Štrbački Buk down to Dvoslap.
- The only rafting itinerary permitted to operate entirely inside the protected borders of Una National Park
- 12 participants per group maximum for maximum safety
Course of events
Please allow a full day for this activity, including approximately 4 hours on water.
- 09:30 — Arrival at Japodski Otoci, parking and check-in
- 09:30–10:00 — Welcome drink, gear pickup, briefing with the rafting team
- 10:00 — Organised transfer to Štrbački Buk, approximately 60 min
- 11:00 — Arrival in Una National Park, short waterfall tour and rafting preparation
- 11:30 — Safety briefing and paddling techniques
- 11:30–15:30 — Rafting route R1: Štrbački Buk → Dvoslap, with stops for swimming, cliff jumps and photos
- 15:30–16:00 — Exit at Dvoslap and transfer back to Japodski Otoci
- 16:00 — End of tour; optional lunch and stay at the resort

Please note that the Una National Park entry ticket is not included. The entry ticket needs to be paid on-site (€8 per person).

Rafting near Račić is a fun, friendly experience and perfect for enjoying the sublime setting of the Una National Park. Rafting on the Una River offers the chance to explore some incredible scenery.
The Una flows through Croatia and western Bosnia-Herzegovina, in places acting as the border between the two countries. The river flows through the Una National Park, which is also the largest national park in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Rafting on the Una is an accessible activity, located just 2 hours from Zagreb and Banja Luka.
This 24km route is the longest on the Una river. Throughout the excursion (around 5 to 6 hours), you will have the opportunity to enjoy natural caves and drink water at a temperature of around 7°C, a clear indication of the drinkability of the water throughout the excursion. On top of that, you'll have the chance to make a number of jumps off the rocks and bridges along the way.
