About the activity

Enjoy spectacular views of the Gros Bras valley, in the heart of the Grands-Jardins National Park in Charlevoix, from the Mont-du-lac-des-Cygnes and its via ferrata courses!

The via ferrata is an ideal outdoor activity to practice alone, with family, or with friends to enjoy panoramic views from the heights of rock faces. Here, on Mont-du-lac-des-Cygnes, the course will offer you beautiful views of the Gros Bras valley, as well as the fauna and flora of the Grands-Jardins National Park. The via ferrata is one of the activities not to be missed if you are in the Charlevoix region!

Two routes are proposed on the via ferrata:

- "la Traversée": accessible to beginners, it simply requires a good physical condition to be able to hold the 3h30 of activity, as well as the outward and return walks during which you will carry your equipment ;

- the "Montée": more sportive, it proposes in addition to the "Traversée" a vertical ascent of 150 m to the top of the Mont-du-lac-des-Cygnes, from where you will have a superb view on the Charlevoix astroblème and the Laurentian massif.

For each of these routes, you will have to cross three beams, as well as a Nepalese bridge. The via ferrata of the Mont-du-lac-des-Cygnes in Charlevoix offers you the thrill of heights and beautiful landscapes!
