Ice Fishing Hut Rental on the Saguenay Fjord in Saint-Fulgence, near Saguenay

It is on the ice covering the Saguenay fjord in the heart of winter that you can rent a fishing hut in Saint-Fulgence, less than 30 minutes' drive from Saguenay. During the day, you will have 4 holes drilled in the ice (in the hut, but it is possible to request holes drilled outside) to discover the pleasures of ice fishing in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. When you arrive, you will receive all the equipment you need for ice fishing on the Saguenay Fjord (2 fishing rods, 2 sets of groundfish lures, plus a small caplan bag and bait), so all you have to do is try your hand at this winter pastime while enjoying the region's sublime surroundings. You will be entitled to a total of 5 catches per person (including caplan, redfish, cod, turbot and 'unicode' eel), which you will need to leave to freeze outside your cabin so that they remain safe to eat. With room for up to 4 anglers, your propane-heated hut (between 18 and 25°C) will protect you from the cold outside during your breaks in the day.
