Zodiac Whale Watching Excursion in Tadoussac, Quebec

Please allow 3.5 hours in total for this activity.

• Arrive at the departure point in Tadoussac for check-in and boarding preparation at least 1 hour before departure.
• Board the zodiac, with embarkation beginning approximately 30 minutes before departure time.
• Receive a welcome from the crew and attend a briefing covering safety procedures.
• Set off on a 2.5-hour zodiac cruise through the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park in search of up to 13 whale species.
• Listen to live educational commentary provided by certified naturalist guides while observing marine mammals and the dramatic fjord landscapes.
• Enjoy a detour into the Saguenay Fjord (if time and weather conditions allow).
• Sail back to the departure pier in Tadoussac, collect belongings and disembark to conclude the activity.

Please arrive 1 hour before the meeting time in order to have time to check in and get settled on the boat.

Boarding will start approximately 30 minutes before departure time.

Closed shoes (not sandals) are required.

ATTENTION for the departure at 8am only, the meeting point is directly at 122, rue de la cale Sèche Tadoussac, G0T 2A0.

Whale Guarantee: The sighting rate is extremely high. However, as the marine park is a natural environment, sometimes the mammals can be more elusive. No worries! If no sightings are made, we'll offer you another whale watching tour (note that in the case of an offered tour, it will be by boat only, rather than by Zodiac).

Zodiac excursions are not advisable, and even prohibited for certain persons such as young children (under the age of 6), pregnant women, people suffering from articulation, back, or autonomy problems, or persons in wheelchairs. If you or any members of your group fall under these criteria, we recommend choosing our whale watching boat tour for a comfortable and equally exciting experience.

Cruises operate rain or shine unless weather conditions pose a safety risk to passengers. We recommend that you dress warmly even in summer, as the temperature on the water can get cooler than on land.

The detour into the Saguenay Fjord will take place only if time and weather conditions allow.

For personal expenses, only credit card payments are accepted on board (cash not available).

Croisières AML's fleet contains 24 and 60-passenger Zodiacs. The choice of boat will be based on logistical reasons, therefore the size of the boat cannot be guaranteed.

To ensure your safety and in accordance with Transport Canada standards, departure times may be adjusted if weather conditions or mechanical issues arise.

Pets are not allowed on board (except assistance dogs).
