Course of events
Please allow between 6 and 7 hours for the whole experience.
- Welcome to the Mt Sima Ski Hill rental shop
- Selection of your snowshoeing equipment, followed by a briefing on the activity (approx. 30 minutes)
- Transfer to the starting point of the hike with the Equinox Adventures vehicle (approx. 1 hour's drive, part of which is on the famous Alaska Highway)
- Once there, get your snowshoes ready
- Departure for a 4-hour guided snowshoeing excursion:
- about 1 hour walk to the icefall
- break of around 2 hours to discover the area around the waterfall and lunch around a campfire
- approximately 1 hour back to the starting point of the trail
- Transfer back to the rental shop (approx. 1 hour)
- Return of the snowshoeing equipment and end of the activity
Activity requirements
All minors must be accompanied by an adult and show a written parental authorisation to take part in the activity.
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.
A minimum number of 2 participants is required to run this activity.
