Beginner's Surfing Courses in Caleta de Fuste

If you are looking to start a great adventure with surfing, this is the right activity for you. Amanay Surf School aims to share their deep love and respect for the sea with all students. You will learn to surf in a safe, fun, and personalized way, all at your own pace. Each session begins with about 20 to 30 minutes of theory followed by at least 1.5 hours in the water. All instructors are qualified with official licenses (ISA, FES, or FCS) and know these beaches like the back of their hand! The equipment provided is some of the best quality with brands such as Roxy or Quicksilver.

An instructor will begin by teaching you the basic principles of surfing: catching the white water of the wave, standing on the board before the wave breaks, paddling correctly, turning the board to go in the direction of the wave (left or right), and surfing a wave to the beach. Luckily the extraordinary weather of Fuerteventura enables Amanay to teach classes almost every day of the year. The beach chosen depends on the conditions with options such as Playa Blanca, Corralejo, or El Cotillo. Surf’s up!
