Practical information
Choose from 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 exploration dives in Tenerife from Las Galletas! Dives are always done in pairs over one morning.
⚠️ Diving equipment is not included in the price and must be added at the time of booking (10€ per day).
Course of events
Please allow around 4~5 hours for your visit.
- Meeting with the team at the Dive Spot Tenerife centre in Las Galletas
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions (approx. 30 minutes)
- Preparation of scuba diving equipment
- Short walk to the boat at the port, then boarding
- Sail to the first dive site selected according to the day's weather conditions and your diving level
- Launch for about 40 minutes of diving with a dive master
- Return to the boat for a 1-hour break before heading off to the second dive site
- Launch again for about 40 minutes of diving with a dive master
- Return to the port of Las Galletas, equipment storage and end of the activity
Activity requirements
A minimum Open Water Diver certification is required to take part in this activity.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Special terms
This activity is not recommended for pregnant people.
Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.
If someone wishes to accompany you on board without diving, they can book their place on board by selecting ‘Snorkelling’.
Your instructor offers a pick-up service at 2€ per person from the south of Tenerife (Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraiso, La Caleta, Fañabe, Costa Adeje, Adeje, Playa las Americas, Los Cristianos, Palm-Mar, Las Galletas, Costa Silencio and El Médano) and at 15€ per car from Puerto Santiago, Playa la Arena, Alcalá and Playa San Juan. If you are staying in the north of the island, please contact the instructor once your booking has been confirmed to see what he can offer you.
Once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor directly to organize the pick-up point and time and if you have selected the option.
Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.

With waters between 18 and 24°C all year round and good visibility, Tenerife offers ideal conditions for scuba diving in the Canary Islands. So if you are at least an Open Water Diver, don't miss out on an exploration dive from Las Galletas with the dive masters from Diving Atlantis! You will leave by boat for 2 consecutive morning dives (with an hour's break between the 2), over one or more days depending on the number of dives you choose.
The exploration dives from Las Galletas will enable you to discover dive sites that are different from one another, both in terms of their underwater landscapes and their variety of flora and fauna: wrecks (El Condesito, Tabaiba, the Meridian, etc.), caves (Zorro Cave, Camarones Cave, Alibaba Cave, etc.), etc. The dive masters will decide which sites you will dive, depending on the weather conditions of the day and your level, but also taking into account your wishes. Expect to see many landscapes sculpted from volcanic rock and flourishing underwater life (turtles, rays, moray eels, cuttlefish, etc.) in the waters of Tenerife!
With a small group of no more than 8 divers on board the boat (not including the dive masters), you will enjoy an unforgettable exploration scuba diving experience in Tenerife. You can also book your exploration dives from Costa Adeje!
