First Scuba Dive in Bastia, Corsica

Departing from Bastia's Old Port, you will board a RIB boat for just 5 minutes of sailing to your dive site at the foot of Bastia's citadel (variable according to weather conditions). Here, crystal-clear waters await you, allowing you to experience your first dive in Bastia with good visibility: not only will you be able to admire the colourful rocks on the cliffs of the citadel, but you will also be able to observe the local fauna and flora (small groupers, starfish, sea urchins, sponges, anemones, etc., and for the lucky ones maybe even an octopus or moray eel!). In total, you will spend 20 minutes underwater, swimming to a maximum depth of 6 metres, each in the company of a dedicated instructor. Finally, while the other participants complete their first dive, you will have the chance to snorkel around the boat, under the supervision of an on-board instructor who will be able to tell you all about the underwater species you can see.
