- Multiple rappels, including a final 200-foot waterfall descent.

Course of events
Please allow approximately 4 hours for this activity.
- Start with a hotel pickup or arrive at the meeting point on your own.
- Travel via 4x4 vehicle to the canyon entrance (approx. 15 minutes).
- Receive high-quality canyoning gear and attend a comprehensive safety briefing from your guides.
- Embark on a guided canyon excursion through the tropical forest (around 2h).
- Hike and descend through crystal-clear canyon pools, with one optional jump.
- Rappel down several imposing waterfalls, including the "Big One", an impressive final rappel down a 200-foot/60-meter waterfall (there will be one guide at the top of the waterfall and one at the bottom to constantly secure participants)
- Once the canyon excursion is completed, return your gear and get transported to a local restaurant (15 min).
- Refuel with a delicious traditional meal (1 hour).
- Return to your hotel via the drop-off service or on your own.
- End of the activity.
Activity requirements
Previous experience in canyoning is not required to take part in this activity.
Being able to swim is not required.
The maximum weight for this activity is 100 kg.
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity, as it involves hiking, rappelling descents, and physical activities on varied terrain.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Special terms
Once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor directly to organize the meeting point and pick-up time. Transportation is included from zone 1 of La Fortuna. For zone 2, 3 and 4, there will be an extra charge.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant or disabled people, or for people with heart problems, serious injuries, or mobility issues.
A minimum number of 2 participants is required to run this activity.
