Chania, a town located in the north-west of the island, is famous for its Venetian harbour, narrow streets, and waterside restaurants. All you need to bring is comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes for the few steps it takes to take off!

Crete is known for its strong winds. As a result, depending on weather and wind conditions, you will take off from either Falasarna or Varipetro. Your instructor will let you know where the flight will take place before the experience begins: if the wind is coming from the west, you will take off from Falasarna, one of Crete's most famous beaches; otherwise, you will depart from Varipetro, a mountain on the mainland.
