For this adventure, you can either meet the guide directly at the Port of Pantanassa, or be picked up from your accommodation in Heraklion city (please specify your location when booking). Upon arrival, you'll board the boat and go through a quick safety briefing. The boat holds a maximum of 8 participants, ensuring a personalised and comfortable service. Then, the snorkelling boat tour near Heraklion begins! You'll start sailing along the stunning gulf of Theseas Village.

Upon arrival at Theseas Village, the certified instructor will provide the snorkelling equipment (mask, snorkel, and fins), and you'll embark on a fun guided snorkelling course! You'll swim and snorkel in the clear azure waters and admire fascinating underwater rock formations and vibrant marine life. This area is home to beautiful scenery, with golden sand, rocky hills, and breathtaking colours. Additional equipment, such as seascooters and mermaid monofins, are also available to use for an additional cost. Afterwards, you'll return to the boat and enjoy light snacks and drinks.

The boat tour in Crete continues to the second snorkelling location - the 'filakes' spot at Agia Pelagia Bay. Agia Pelagia Bay is a sheltered, natural cove - the perfect location for snorkelling! Once again, you'll have some free time to snorkel or swim in the refreshing waters, and sunbathe in the hot Greek sun. The snorkelling spots are remote, offering an escape from the bustling tourist locations on the island. At the end of the adventure, you'll return to the starting point at Pantanassa Port (return transfer is available to your accommodation in Heraklion).

Activity requirements

The snorkelling course is not suitable for pregnant people or those who cannot swim.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants to take place. If this number is not reached, you will be offered a full refund or the chance to reschedule.

Transfer is available for free from your accommodation in Heraklion city or Ammoudara. Please specify your location when booking.

Transfer from the areas of Kokkini Hani, Karteros, Hersonisos, Gouves, Gournes, Annisaras, Malia, and Stalida is also available for an additional cost. Please contact your instructor directly after booking to arrange.

Seascooters and mermaid monofins (sizes EU 37-39 and 40-43) are available to use at the first snorkelling spot for an extra charge, to be paid directly on the day of the activity.
