Grab a paddle and kayak from the stunning city walls of Dubrovnic to the island of Lokrum.

Starting from Pile Bay, at the foot of the Lovrijenac fortress, an X-Adventure guide will give you a quick intro and safety briefing. Once you are ready to hit the water, you will set out to sea towards the island of Lokrum. There will be several stops along the crystal clear waters so that you can rest, swim, eat, discover Lokrum’s caves, and listen to cultural stories. After about 5 km, you will take a break at Betina Cave to enjoy the gorgeous beach only accessible by the sea. Here you will have more free time (for about 40 minutes) to snorkel and even jump cliffs!

Once you are ready to head back, you will hop in the kayak and paddle towards Dubrovnik, known as the pearl of the Adriatic. You will see a unique side of the spectacular city walls, listen to stories provided by your guide, and of course take lots of pictures! The day will end back on beautiful Pile Bay where you will feel rejuvenated and accomplished from a day out on the Adriatic Sea.

The around Lokrum trip is just about long enough. We wouldn’t recommend the short version. The visits to the caves were nice. We liked the stories of the instructors in which they explained a bit about the surroundings and the history.

Great activity, such a different way to see the city as opposed to just walking the city walls, I would strongly recommend.
