Kayaking in the Mreznica River near Plitvice

The 4km descent covers a mix of class II–III rapids and six travertine waterfalls, with the largest one bypassed on foot or by jumping into the water (without the kayak), depending on your comfort level.

Throughout the Mreznica kayaking route, you’ll be surrounded by spectacular canyon walls, waterfalls, and forest views. The pace of the tour is always adapted to the group’s abilities, and short breaks along the way let you relax, take photos, or enjoy a refreshing swim. Swimming and cliff jumping are optional, and you don’t need to be an experienced swimmer, as life jackets are provided, and non-swimmers are welcome to join as long as they inform the guide beforehand.
