This excursion takes place in Ivalo, a small town in Finnish Lapland. Ivalo is located in the Inari region and serves as a gateway to stunning Arctic nature. On this summer fishing trip in Ivalo, you'll travel to a beautiful lake in the surrounding wilderness.

The adventure begins with pick-up from listed locations in Ivalo centre (please specify when booking). The expert, local guide will greet you and you'll embark on a scenic 30-minute drive to the wilderness area. Then, you'll walk for about 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) to a breathtaking lake in the quiet forest. Upon arrival at the lake, the guide will provide the fishing equipment and go through a safety briefing and instructions. You can try spin fishing or you can bring your own fishing equipment if you prefer. Once everyone is prepared, the fishing in Ivalo begins!

After casting your line, it's time to sit back, relax and wait for a catch. The knowledgeable guide will teach you all of their special tips and tricks for fishing. As you fish, you'll take in the peaceful atmosphere of the lovely summer evening. During the summer months, Finnish Lapland experiences the Midnight Sun phenomenon, where it stays light for 24 hours a day. You'll watch the mesmerising spectacle as the sunset turns directly to sunrise. Throughout the excursion, delicious grilled sausages and hot drinks will be served around an open fire. Afterwards, you'll be transferred back to the starting point in Ivalo.
