The Northern Lights trip to Lake Inari begins at the meeting point in the small village of Ivalo (pick-up is included from listed locations in Inari/Saariselkä, please specify when booking). Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the friendly guide and gear up for the adventure with winter overalls, boots, gloves, and a headtorch. After a quick itinerary briefing, you'll set off on a scenic drive to the Aurora Camp, located at Lake Inari just 15 minutes away from Ivalo.

Witnessing the Northern Lights at Lake Inari is extremely popular, due to the dark skies and low light pollution. At the camp, you'll enjoy a warm drink and an introduction to the Northern Lights. After learning a bit more about this natural wonder, you'll take a stroll around the lake and through the forest to admire the stunning night sky. If you're lucky, the mesmerising Northern Lights will make an appearance! After discussing and marvelling at the phenomenon, you'll return to the camp, where a tasty, locally sourced meal will be served around an open fire. Then, you'll be driven back to the starting point in Ivalo.
