Your instructor will teach you how to prepare the equipment, as well as teach you a few ice-fishing techniques. Then, you'll have a blast helping your guide drill a hole in the thick, 80-centimetre-thick ice. Casting your line into the frigid waters, if luck is on your side, you may reel in such species of fish as Arctic char, brown trout, northern pike, perch, etc. While waiting patiently for a bite, you'll savour the tranquillity of nature and Finland's remarkable topography.
