Practical information
A 2-hour guided family snowshoe hike departing from Ax Les Thermes, alternating between walking with a treasure hunt and building an igloo.
Course of events
Please allow 3 hours in total for this activity, including a 2-hour snowshoe treasure hunt.
- Meet at the Ax les Thermes train station car park.
- Car pooling to the starting point of the activity (15 to 30 minute journey).
- Distribution and adjustment of the equipment provided (snowshoes and poles).
- A 2-hour snowshoe hike with a treasure hunt. The pace of progress will be adapted to the group and each person's physical condition.
- During the hike, you'll take a break to build an igloo using an ancestral method.
- End of hike and return of equipment.
- Return journey to Ax les Thermes station (15 to 30 minutes).
Activity requirements
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity to take place.
Special terms
The "family" rate applies to a group of 2 adults (over 13) and 2 children (12 maximum).
Infants, pets and people with motor disabilities are not allowed to take part in this activity.
The duration and itinerary of this activity depend on the weather.
