Course of events

Please allow around 1.5 hours in total for the activity, including 20 minutes of paragliding.

  • Your flight will be confirmed the day before the appointement depending on the weather forecast.
  • Shuttle bus ride from the meeting point to the take-off point in Campan.
  • Preparing the equipment and fitting the passenger harness.
  • Take off.
  • Tandem flight lasting around 20 minutes, depending on the wind conditions.
  • Landing at the meeting point.
  • Debriefing.
Activity requirements

Participants must weigh a minimum of 25 kilos (55lbs) and a maximum of 100 kilos (220lbs) for equipment and safety reasons.

Parental consent is required for children under 16.

Great activity to enjoy the amazing scenery and quite chilled. I think it is important to note that the activity is both weather and weight dependent. For example for heavier people wind is also needed for take off. Since there is usually more wind in the afternoon the activity is more likely to take place in the afternoon especially if you are heavy. This was relevant for people like us who had booked another activity in the afternoon. One of my friend who was booked in the morning couldn't do it because there was not enough wind for his weight (93kg). It may have been possible for him in the afternoon since the wind picked up but we had another activity booked. If I had known weight added an element of uncertainty I would have booked something we could both enjoy.
