About the activity

Internationally renowned for the beauty of its scenery, the Embiez archipelago is located in the Var department of southeastern France. Made up of numerous small islets, its fame is mainly due to its five major islands: Les Embiez (owned by Paul Ricard), Grand Renouveau (home to the Conservatoire du Littoral), Petit Renouveau (a nature reserve for birds), Petit Gaou (now a peninsula) and Grand Gaou (the second largest by area).
