Practical information
LESSONS
The students will meet directly at the kitesurfing school, and the lessons will take place on the beach of Cabourg.
A sessions lasts approximately 4 hours, depending on weather conditions (2 hours for the perfecting class).
Trainees are divided according to their level and the program is designed so you can progress quickly towards autonomy. Each student has a radio to stay in contact with the instructor. An instructor manages a maximum of 4 students at a time.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
Kitesurfing requires suitable weather (wind strength and direction) for a successful session. The monitor will inform you the day before to confirm your kite lesson. Depending on the forecast, your session can be postponed or cancelled.
When the wind direction does not allow kiteboarding at the beach, in case of southerly wind, the school can bring you further in the sea, along with their boat. It is a rigid 6m50 with a 140 horsepower engine that allows you to navigate in open water, in safe conditions. Choosing to go in open water will depend on the decision of the instructor.
