Practical information
Course of events
- Meet at the place defined by the instructor and yourself.
- Shuttle to the Gorges de Chailles canyon.
- Equipment set up by your instructor.
- 5 minute walk to the canyon.
- Briefing by your instructor on the activity, equipment and safety rules.
- Water and hiking tours, abseils up to 20 meters, jumps up to 10 meters, and a 300 meter swim for 5 hours.
- 30 minute walk back.
- Shuttle service to the original meeting point.
Activity requirements
It is imperative to be able to swim and to be in good physical condition to do this activity.
A first experience in canyoning is also required.
Special terms
This activity is weather dependent: if the activity cannot take place because of the weather, you will be offered another date or a refund.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Intended for sportsmen who are comfortable in water, the Gorges de Chailles canyon has a fun and aquatic course, ideal for thrills! Through impressive obstacles such as abseils and numerous jumps reaching 20 and 10 metres respectively, come and discover the sensational Gorges de Chailles canyon.
After a short five minute approach walk, and a briefing from your state-certified canyoning instructor on the activity, equipment and safety rules, enjoy a wild canyon on the border of the Isère and Savoie regions. During the descent of the canyon, admire the breathtaking green landscapes of the Gorges de Chailles including a magnificent natural arch and several reaches with emerald waters.
