Practical information
You're in for a 3 hour adventure with approximately 1 hour in the airs.
- First things first, you'll watch the inflation of the balloon before climbing into the basket for a 1 hour flight.
- After you take off, you'll just follow the winds around the mountains and over the trees to touch the clouds with the tips of your fingers...
- During the flight, your guide will be in permanent contact with the team on land who will welcome you when you come back.
- Once the balloon is deflated and folded you can enjoy a typical pilots aperitive.
- Before you go back to the village, you'll receive a flight diploma.
Activity requirements
Children that are less than 1.2 metres high can't take part in the activity.
Pregnant women should not fly in a hot air balloon.
If you have medical issues such as hips, heart, lungs, blood pressure problems, you should ask your GP for an authorisation to fly.

The city of Beaune is home to a rich historical and architectural heritage. It is considered the capital of the famous wines of Burgundy such as Pommard, Savigny-les-Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne and others. Those names must ring a bell.
You can start the day by admiring, the perfect alignments of the vines and the apparent chaos of the forests around from the balloon before you decide to go around the cellars to taste the great wines.
From up above, you will also discover Beaune from a new angle: the city of Art with its magnificent Hôtel Dieu (Hospices de Beaune) and its roof with glazed tiles.
The professional pilot will show you the different facets of the Pays Beaunois and detail the scenery wherever the winds take you. In addition, he will help you understand the technique of piloting a hot air balloon.
This colorful region offers an enchantment for the eyes in all seasons that you will absolutely have to discover for yourself in a hot air balloon!

It was a fantastic experience. A team full of experience, the pilot 'Antonio' and his team were really great, lots of explanations. I recommend it really. Sensations are amazing.
