Practical information
With this option, you go in groups of 3 to 6 people for 4 days of immersion in the climbing course on the site of Orpierre... It's definitely the best way to make rapid progress in climbing in a friendly and wild mountain environment.
You will be accomodated in the village (accomodation to book with your guide after confirmation of the activity, around 20 € per night).
Course of events
- 1st day: meeting in the morning at the agreed time with your instructor to make the trip to Orpierre and climb in the afternoon (unless you meet directly on the spot)
- 2nd day: learning or improving different rope manipulations in a multi pitch climbing route. Climbing a multi pitch route
- 3rd day: multi pitch route climbing, more technical, correction of gestures and climbing position
- 4th day: improving your climbing skills, daring to fall, gestures, manipulation of escapes and back home!
Objectives
The objectives depend on your original level. Generally you will work on the following steps:
- Acquire the belay and other manipulations techniques (rescue,...)
- Climbing in the lead
- Improve your body position
- Being autonomous on multi-pitch routes
- Abseiling or daring to fall
Activity requirements
Participants must be aged at least 14 years old to participate. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
You must be physically fit to keep up the 4 days, even if you are a beginner to rock climbing.

After your activity is booked and confirmed, your guide will contact you and discuss the accomodation conditions.

Practical information
This course can be an initiation to climbing as well as an intense moment to improve your skills as you spend 4 days on the magnificent site of Orpierre in Provence where you can go climbing on natural cliffs.
The village of Orpierre, once the heart of the search for gold and stones, is a mecca for climbing in the Hautes Alpes, everything revolves around climbing and cliffs!
Many courses take place there since the variety of routes allows climbers of all levels to participate. Roc'Emotion's instructors work individually with each participants to help them improve as much as posibble and you will use video analysis to correct your body position and climbing techniques.
You will climb on limestone rocks of 25 m to 180 m, in a Circus in the heart of the village of Orpierre... Pure happiness!
You will also leave on incredible multi pitch routes if the level allows it and if you wish to. The whole program is tailor-made and will be adapted to each group and expectations of the participants, from beginners to advanced.
