Practical information
Programme:
- You will be introduced to your instructor who will brief you on the security protocols and the chosen itinerary of the day
- You will be using a radio to stay in constant contact with your instructor, so you are never alone and will also be followed by a boat should you require assistance
- You will be assisted when taking off and landing
- Your excursion will either take place in the etang or the sea, depending on your requirements and goals
Activity requirements
Level of expertise: you must be an autonomous kitesurfer who knows how to control your kite without any problems.
You must also know how to kitesurf downwind.
All participants must be at least 15 years old or at weigh at least 45 kgs and be able to swim autonomously.
Children under 18 years old must provide proof of parental consent.
You must buy (or already have) a kitesurfing licence onsite.
Special terms
In adverse weather conditions your lessons may be postponed to a later date convenient to both you and the school.
July & August are peaks seasons, therefore the prices are higher during these months.

Practical information
Discover the various amazing downwind kitesurfing spots of the region.
This session is an aquatic excursion in the sea or across the étang de Salses, an exceptional natural site of 7000 hectares.
The landscapes here are absolutely magnificent, a great backdrop for your open air adventure! You'll spend a total of 3-4 hours visiting the different spots, a great way of exploring the area.
You'll be followed by a boat, should you require any assistance and all kitesurfing gear can be provided should you need it.
If you would like to enjoy a locally prepared meal, then please let the team at UniKite know beforehand so they can make all the necessary preparations.
