Practical information
Throw yourself into the void and get a good dose of adrenaline and thrills during your bungee jump from the Isle Jourdain viaduct!
Equipment:
The jump is made from the feet. The equipment complies with U.I.A.A. (Union Internationale des Alpinistes Amateurs) standards.
It consists of a harness with two leg straps to attach the bungee, plus a safety rope. The carabiners are made of stainless steel and the ropes have a diameter of 11 mm. Each component is checked and changed periodically, and a technical document is available on request. The elastic is made up of approximately 960 threads of multi-fibre natural latex, calibre 20/22, electronically controlled. Each bungee is designed and used for jumping according to weight and height, and cannot be subjected to more than 150 jumps.
Course of events
- Go to the viaduct and confirm your name with the instructor.
- Get into position and don your full-body harness and leggings
- Jump 47 metres over the Vienne
- After the jump, a winch will lower you to the ground: you will return to the bridge on foot via a small footpath.
Activity requirements
Minimum weight: 40 kgs
Maximum weight: 120 kgs
Please note if you're over 55, you must bring a medical certificate from your GP, stating that you are allowed to partake in this activity.
Participants under 15 must provide written parental consent.
Special terms
You can purchase a video of your bungee jump onsite for an additional 25 Euros and a t-shirt for 15 Euros.
The best way to make your way to the viaduct in by car.

L'activité en soi est géniale, tout un mélange d'émotions sur le viaduc. Niveau accessibilité au site à revoir: manque de panneaux d'indication pour accéder rapidement au site.
