Nestled on Lacroix Island between two branches of the Seine, this tree climbing session in Rouen offers a wild escape in the heart of the Norman capital. The Jacques Chastellain Park becomes your adventure playground where centennial trees house courses adapted to all levels. Light filters through the foliage as you overlook strollers, offering a unique perspective on the river and the city's rooftops. AccroCamp has established itself as a reference for urban adventure, transforming this green space into a sanctuary of thrills perfectly accessible by foot, bike, or public transport.
Your progression begins with a warm welcome from the Rouen team, who will equip you with the latest Petzl harnesses. After watching an educational video briefing, you will validate your skills on a test course under the watchful eye of CQPOPAH-certified operators. The adventure intensifies through monkey bridges, tightrope wires, and climbing walls. The most daring will launch themselves for a Tarzan swing or test the QuickJump, a secure free-fall guaranteeing an adrenaline rush. Each workshop is designed to respect the growth of the trees, using mounting techniques that preserve the health of the forest while ensuring total safety thanks to the continuous lifeline.
Accessibility is at the heart of the experience with four distinct pass types based on participants' height, allowing children from age 3 as well as experienced athletes to find a challenge to their measure. Safety equipment is checked every morning and personal protective equipment is rigorously maintained by the park's experts. Whether you come for a family outing or with friends, you have 3 hours of actual practice to explore the different difficulty levels at your own pace. The park also features a picnic area and a snacking space to extend this moment of relaxation in nature after your exploits in the treetops.
The season runs from April to October, with specific openings during school holidays and public holidays to take advantage of the long weekends in May or beautiful summer days. It is the perfect opportunity to test your agility while contributing to the preservation of the environment, as each adventurer receives a tree seed to plant after their session. Book your tree climbing session at AccroCamp Rouen now and prepare for an unforgettable aerial adventure on Lacroix Island!
