Introduction to Microlight Piloting from Corme-Écluse, near Royan

Ultralight aircraft are the perfect way to enjoy a scenic flight and discover the incredible sensations of flying an aircraft. It is even possible to take the controls without any experience, from the age of 10, alongside a qualified pilot to teach you the basics and guide you on your first flights. Supervised by a qualified microlight instructor, this discovery of microlight piloting near Royan will take place either in a multiaxis microlight (an aircraft with a closed cabin similar to a small aeroplane), or in a tilting microlight (an open aircraft made up of a rigid wing and a motorised carriage), depending on your wishes. The 2 types of aircraft do not provide the same flying sensations, so don't hesitate to ask your instructor for advice if you don't know which one to choose! In any case, you will take off for around 30 minutes of dual control flying, with the possibility of flying over the beaches of the Charente coast and/or its oyster beds, depending on the day's weather conditions, which will offer you some exceptional panoramic views.
