Course of events
Day 1:
- 9H30 Appointment, welcome and briefing.
- 10H15 Basic principles to never fall into a survival situation.
- 12H00 Departure Hiking with observation of the fauna and flora (Picking of wild berries according to season, observation of animal tracks).
- 13H00 Learn how to make fire without a lighter.
- 15H00 Finding water and making it drinkable.
- 17H00 Arrival at the bivouac site and construction of the survival shelter, making fire, water, trapping.
- 20H00 Meal consisting of gathering and hunting (impression of the day).
- 23H00 Sleeping in the shelter.
Day 2:
- 8.00 am Wake up.
- 9.00 am Dismantling of the shelter and cleaning of the bivouac.
- 9.30 am Orientation (knowing how to read a map and find your bearings with a compass or the sun, itinerary with search for beacons).
- 11H00 Return to Ferme des 4 Bornes, debriefing with a review of the past 2 days. Snack.
- 12H00 Visit of the Polar Park (Sled Dogs) by Emmanuelle.
- 13H00 End of the course.
