Practical information
Day 1:
- 9H30 Appointment, welcome and briefing.
- 10H15 Basic principles to never fall into a survival situation.
- 12H00 Departure Hiking with observation of the fauna and flora (Picking of wild berries according to season, observation of animal tracks).
- 13H00 Learn how to make fire without a lighter.
- 15H00 Finding water and making it drinkable.
- 17H00 Arrival at the bivouac site and construction of the survival shelter, making fire, water, trapping.
- 20H00 Meal consisting of gathering and hunting (impression of the day).
- 23H00 Sleeping in the shelter.
Day 2:
- 8.00 am Wake up.
- 9.00 am Dismantling of the shelter and cleaning of the bivouac.
- 9.30 am Orientation (knowing how to read a map and find your bearings with a compass or the sun, itinerary with search for beacons).
- 11H00 Return to Ferme des 4 Bornes, debriefing with a review of the past 2 days. Snack.
- 12H00 Visit of the Polar Park (Sled Dogs) by Emmanuelle.
- 13H00 End of the course.

This forest survival course in Sainte-Colombe-sur-Seine is a theoretical and practical approach that brings together several themes based on several teaching areas.
The training is essential to learn the right gestures, the right techniques to survive while waiting for help:
- Knowing how to build a survival shelter and why.
- Knowing how to make fire (several techniques studied).
- Finding water, assessing its potability, making it drinkable, storing it, drinking it.
- Orientation day and night, defining the 4 cardinal points.
- Learning how to feed oneself, edible wild berries, insects.
- Workshop on how to make a stretcher.
The aim of this 2-day workshop (with a night in a bivouac) is to give you the necessary knowledge to never fall into a survival situation.
Located in Burgundy,you will discover a magnificent biotope full of history.
