At an altitude of 2,057 metres, the Col du Lautaret is one of the most legendary passes in the Tour de France in the Hautes-Alpes, between the Ecrins and Arves massifs. So it is a must for mountain bikers near Briançon, from beginners to the more experienced, with routes to suit all abilities. And for an experience out of the ordinary, the Sport Rent team invites you to discover the Col du Lautaret by night, on a 20-km route open to everyone from the age of 12! All in all, you will spend almost 2 hours pedalling along the Guisane River, with a 100-metre positive gradient and a 670-metre negative gradient along the way.
This night-time mountain bike descent of the Col du Lautaret will start at sunset from the summit of the pass, with the famous "Golden Hour" giving the scenery a most pleasant glow. As night falls, you will stop along the way at the hamlet of Les Boussardes for a well-deserved meal, with local produce on the menu and a warm atmosphere in the company of your group! You will then continue the ride at night, using headlamps to light the way for the rest of the adventure.
