Rope Swing from the Souleuvre Viaduct, Normandy

Please allow about 1 hour for the whole experience.

• Meeting at Skypark Normandie by AJ Hackett, 15 minutes before the activity begins (free car park)
• Registration and administrative formalities
• Briefing on how the activity will take place
• Cross the footbridge to the jumping area, beneath Pier 1
• Setting up the equipment
• Safety briefing and final check of your equipment
• Start of your rope swing experience involving a 20-metre free fall, followed by a smooth, bounce-free horizontal pendulum motion, tracing an arc between piers 1 and 2 of the viaduct, passing beneath the suspension footbridge (approx. 5 minutes)
• Hissing backup to the starting point using a winch and reception by the instructor
• Remove your equipment and end the activity

• Minimum height: 140 cm
• Minimum weight: 99 lbs / 45 kg
• Maximum weight: 330 lbs / 150 kg (subject to the harness being adjusted)

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.

People aged over 60 and those with reduced mobility are asked to bring a medical certificate issued within the last 3 months in order to take part in this activity.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the activity starts.

You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity: pregnancy, a slipped disc, heart or joint conditions in general, a history of severe head injury, Ménière’s disease, cerebral vascular malformation, eye problems, epilepsy, etc.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people.

All participants must sign an insurance waiver on-site.

For safety reasons, on-board cameras (such as GoPros) are not permitted.

Cancellations are not permitted. However, you can reschedule your activity up to 72 hours in advance.

Pets are welcome on the site, provided they are kept on a lead, but are not allowed on the footbridge.
