Practical information
- You will meet with your instructor in the Dive Center where you will be taught the basics of scuba diving
- Afterwards in shallow water you will learn the basics of scuba diving, how to use the scuba gear, how to navigate underwater
- Once the shallow water dive is completed you will have a boat dive of 30 minutes to explore the sea bottom of Alonissos. You will dive from the boat in the open sea.
- Maximum depth : 12 m.
- In the end you will return to the dive centre to take off the wetsuit and relax

Explore a whole new world of adventure with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving course. There's nothing more thrilling than the first experience of breathing underwater and exploring unique marine creatures under the surface of the sea. A new exciting world awaits for you in the magnificent marine park of Alonissos!
With the PADI Discover Scuba diving programme you will get introduced into the techniques of scuba diving, and dive accompanied by an instructor to depths of 12m. Your qualified and experienced instructor will show you first how to use the scuba gear in confined water, how to clear the mask, the regulator recovery and sharing air. Briefly you will learn the basics of underwater diving. Then you will head off to the open water and explore the marine life at 12 meters.
With the Discover Scuba diving package you can have either the Shallow water dive and the dive from the shore, or the shallow water dive and the dive from a boat! Up to you to decide where this adventure will lead you.
