Embark on an exciting hiking tour to the magnificent hidden Lulugas Waterfall at Mount Parnon in the Peloponnese. Welcoming adventurers from ages 14 and up!

The Peloponnese is a large peninsula located in southern Greece, characterised by its varied terrain, with mountain ranges, fertile valleys, rugged coastlines, and sandy beaches. Mount Parnon is one of the mountain ranges located in the southeastern Peloponnese. It lies between the regions of Laconia and Arcadia and features lush vegetation, ancient pathways and hidden waterfalls!

The trip begins at the starting point in Paralio Astros, a coastal town located in the North Kynouria municipality of the Arcadia regional unit in the Peloponnese. The experienced mountain guides will meet you and go through a quick safety briefing. This trail is a moderate level and is suited for those with hiking experience. Then, you and your group (a maximum of 12 participants), will set off on Mount Parnon!

As you hike, you’ll pass through the mountain’s rugged terrain, deep valleys, and dense forests. The mountain is known for its many caves and diverse flora and fauna, including oak and pine trees. You may also spot some wild animals, such as deer and different bird species. Soon, you’ll arrive at the magical Luluga Waterfall, which lies concealed within a narrow canyon nestled between two mountain villages. The path will gradually wind along the canyon’s slope down from a height of 35m (115ft), leading to the heart of the waterfall. After admiring the natural beauty of the waterfall, you’ll continue the return journey to the starting point in Astros.

This enjoyable hiking excursion is the perfect way to explore the natural wilderness of Mount Parnon in the Peloponnese and discover a concealed waterfall!
