Course of events
Please allow 4 hours on-site for the entire experience.
- Arrival at the rafting base next to Plaka Bridge, registration, and warm welcome by the team (please arrive 15 minutes in advance)
- Distribution of professional technical gear including wetsuit, life jacket, and helmet
- Transfer from the base to the river entry point at Politsa Bridge
- Comprehensive safety briefing on paddling techniques, river commands, and water safety
- Launching of the rafts and departure for 2 hours of rafting (10 km) through Class 2-3 rapids
- Glyfki waterfall
- Final rapid run passing directly under the grand historic stone arch of Plaka Bridge
- Return to the base, changing into dry clothes in the locker rooms, and final debriefing
Activity requirements
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity. In addition, all participants are required to be in good physical condition.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. *Children participation ages vary according to season and are always subject to prevailing weather conditions
