4x4 Safari in Lepetymnos Mountain, Feeding the Wild Horses, in Lesbos

With this 4x4 tour, you will walk on the highest mountain top in Lesbos, enjoy the breathtaking view, feed the wild horses of the area and learn about the Aronia superfood.

Activity
During this activity, you will have the opportunity to discover the highest peak of the island through an off-road route with difficulty level 5. The stunning view of the region will leave you speechless, as you gaze at the Aegean Sea, Mount Olympus and the coasts of Asia Minor.

What’s more, you will become intimate with the wildlife of the area, as you will be able to feed the wild horses (don’t forget to bring an apple or bread with you). Descending, you will stumble upon George, head of Kariofillis Farm, where you will learn about the benefits of Aronia, the well-known superfood.

Location
You will explore the hidden paths of Lesbos with your friendly and experienced driver. You will be transported on a luxury 4x4 SUV while you pass-by the south-east of the island towards the north, to Lepetymnos mountain. Lesbos, an island located in the north of the Aegean, is of unique beauty, with amazing flora and fauna, and, of course, adorable people.

What to expect
Starting around 9 am from Plomari village (you just need to contact your provider if you live someplace else to arrange a meeting point), you will discover the true colors of Lesbos accompanied by your friendly and professional driver. As you drive by a number of spots, you will arrive at Lepetymnos mountain and its peak (994m). You will feed the wild horses, and, descending, you will come across Kariofillis Farm where you will gain knowledge about the Aronia seeds. George will tell you everything you need to know- after all, he creates amazing products deriving from them.
