About the activity
In the heart of the mythical home of the gods, canyoning at Orlia Waterfalls offers a spectacular immersion on the eastern slopes of Mount Olympus. This exceptional natural site, carved by crystal-clear waters, is nestled in a lush greenery where the limestone rock creates refreshing natural slides and deep pools. It is here, in this wild and preserved setting near the village of Dion, that you will be able to discover the majesty of the landscapes of mainland Greece.
Under the supervision of professional guides, you will progress along the water through four rappels, the highest of which reaches approximately 10 metres. The route is dotted with two jumps and a natural slide allowing you to glide directly into the natural pools. The team provides complete, high-quality equipment, including 5mm neoprene suits for optimal thermal comfort, safety harnesses, and approved helmets. Each passage is an opportunity to admire the local biodiversity of Greece's highest mountain.
This outing is ideal for beginners and families with teenagers, as no previous experience in canyoning is required. To guarantee a quality experience and maximum safety, the supervision is provided by certified instructors who perfectly know the geology and currents of the Orlia river. Small groups are formed, allowing everyone to learn abseiling techniques at their own pace.
Book your canyoning session at Orlia Waterfalls now and get ready for an unforgettable adventure on the slopes of Mount Olympus!
